Synopsis
Two women with very different lives come together. One struggling to survive after her mother kicks her out, while the other runs a successful business. I am really surprised at how enthralled I was with this series. I watched it in one night and I must say that Tyler Perry did a pretty good job, it was like one of those soap operas. The characters Mallory and Kimmie really irritated me. Kimmie was portrayed as a character who has no tongue to speak her mind, no personality. That was so sad. If I had a mother like her, I would literally never look back except at my sister. She was too pathetic, too shy, she hardly stood up to anyone. There were also parts that developed very slowly and there was too much focus on parts that didn’t matter at all, unlike parts like Rain’s character. Damn, this girl was forgotten so quickly. No doubt about it. All in all, it’s worth watching and interesting, so give it a try. A decent 6 because the acting was mediocre.
